Timothy Dzida

Timothy Andrew Dzida is a professional musician from the United States. He studied trumpet performance and composition at Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Music Performance in 2018. He then pursued his studies further when he moved to England in 2018 to begin his Master’s in Trumpet Performance. In December of 2019 he graduated with a Master’s in Performance from the Royal Northern College of Music and has been an active musician since. He is currently pursuing a certificate of Education with Instrumental Specialization with Manchester Metropolitan and RNCM.

Throughout his performing career, Tim has been a member of multiple large and small ensembles, including principal trumpet for the Frank Tichelli Collegiate Honor band in 2018, principal trumpet for 6 different chamber ensembles (Concordia Brass Ensemble, Yellow Rose Brass Ensemble, Quintuplets Quintet, RNCM Baroque Ensemble, Presto Brass Trio, and the Kellie Consort Baroque Ensemble). Tim has performed as a principal trumpet for 4 different musicals such as Sweeney Todd, Man of La Mancha, Cabaret, and Guys and Dolls, as well as stage trumpet for a showing of the Pilgrim’s Progress. He is currently principal trumpet for the DGK and DGG jazz ensembles, and teaches privately and with Stalybridge Music Academy in Tameside. He has performed with many large ensemble as a leader of the trumpet and brass sections, and aspires to grow as a musician, performer, and teacher always.
